High-Quality Cabin
Riding in the 2020 Kia Telluride feels nothing short of a first-class cabin. Among the Telluride's top features are a dual-pane sunroof, quilted leather seats, and an available 10.25-inch touchscreen. A seven-seat configuration is available with captain's chairs in the back row, while a bench-style seating style provides room for eight occupants. Connectivity and technology include six USB charging ports, three 12V charging ports, a 3.5-inch trip computer, and a touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Grand Cherokee, in contrast, has a comparatively dated interior with a maximum 8.4-inch infotainment screen. It has standard cloth seats and only seats five passengers in two rows of seats. Overall, its interior is less spacious.
Styling
In addition to being one of the most well-equipped vehicles on the market, the Kia Telluride is also one of the most stylish. This year, Kia opted to flaunt the Telluride's impressive size. Its shape is noticeably bigger and boxier than that of its peers, much like the shape of the first SUVs. However, far from being boring or outdated, the Telluride's appearance is quite appealing to consumers. Furthermore, there are some distinct differences among the trims that give them their own unique looks. The base trim, for instance, has 18-inch wheels and LED positioning lights. The second trim, called the S, has a metallic front grille, low-profile roof rails, dual chrome exhaust tips, and larger 20-inch alloy wheels. The EX has LED lights in the rear, a power-operated liftgate, and power-folding side mirrors. On the SX, you'll get sporty black alloy wheels and bold LED projector-style headlights. The Jeep Grand Cherokee, on the other hand, gets only 17-inch wheels at the base level. It doesn't have standard LED lights all-around or sporty wheel options. It does not have dual exhaust tips, and it lacks the towing accessories that the Telluride has for pulling heavy loads.
Safety Features
Safety technology is another of the Kia Telluride's strengths. The Telluride comes with a number of passive and active safety features at all trim levels to keep you and your loved ones safe. All trim levels have dual-stage front airbags, driver's knee airbags, side curtain airbags, and rollover sensors. Anti-lock braking, electronic stability control, and vehicle stability control are also standard. The Telluride's long list of driver-assist safety features includes forward collision avoidance, blind-spot monitoring, driver attention warning, lane departure warning, and lane-keep assist. It also has rear cross-traffic alert. While the Jeep Grand Cherokee has airbags all around, it has fewer standard driver-assist safety features. Not all features are available on all trim levels.
